Africa is a continent full of beautiful natural sights from Victoria Falls to Table Mountain. It’s also a place to find amazing wildlife on Safari, sample historic cultures and see terrific beaches. Here are our reviews of tourist attractions in Africa and remember, all of our reviews are based on personal visits:
- Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban
Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban was one of the newly constructed arenas for the 2010 soccer world cup which was held in South Africa. Today it hosts regular events and sports games, but it also has a number of attractions including the impressive SkyCar.
- Howick Falls, South Africa
Howick Falls in South Africa is a natural waterfall over 300 feet high with a specially constructed viewing platform so you can take photos. Over the years, a tourist industry has grown around the water and there are now woodland walks along the edge of the river plus a host of cafes, gift shops and souvenir stalls.
- Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Town
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is often described as one of the best botanic gardens in the world. The garden sits on the slopes of beautiful Table Mountain and the unique climate here allows for very green, well watered gardens, nearly all year round.
